In a playful and innovative move, Uber Eats has unveiled its latest campaign, “Pide Casi Casi de Todo”, showcasing the diverse range of products available on its platform beyond just food delivery. Developed by the creative agency Ogilvy, this campaign is a localized adaptation of Uber Eats’ global initiative, “Get Almost Almost Anything.”

We at Lee Films are excited to have been part of this project. We worked diligently to ensure that the spot not only captured the essence of Uber Eats’ diverse offerings but also infused it with the unique humor and cultural references that resonate with audiences in Spain.

At the forefront of the campaign is the influencer extraordinaire, Georgina Rodríguez, who leads a star-studded cast also featuring ex-footballer Luis Figo, content creator Laura Escanes, actor Brays Efe, and singer Rosario Flores. Together, they humorously demonstrate the wide array of items that can be ordered through Uber Eats, from groceries to pharmacy items and even tattoo removal services.

The spot, cleverly tapping into internet culture in Spain, references popular memes and social media phenomena. From Brays Efe’s infamous plea for a boat vacation to Laura Escanes’ emotional journey and the hilarious “ruka” incident, the ad seamlessly integrates these cultural references to highlight Uber Eats’ extensive offerings.

Ricardo Pabón, Head of Marketing at Uber Eats, emphasized the campaign’s objective, stating, “The goal of this campaign is to demonstrate that Uber Eats is more than just a food delivery app. It’s a platform where you can order from supermarkets, pharmacies, convenience stores, florists, farmers’ markets, and almost anything else you need on a daily basis.”

The campaign, which launched on January 18th in Spain, encompasses activations across television, outdoor advertising, buses, and digital platforms. Media planning for the campaign is handled by Mediacom and PHD Media, ensuring widespread visibility and engagement.
